wren's blog: A close look at butterflies

Posted on Aug 17, 2011 8:38 PM

As I said before I like to look close at thing.  With Macro photograph the depth of field(what is in focus) is very shallow. But if you can get it right you can see things that the naked eye can not.

Join me and see what I saw the last couple of days through the eye of my camera.

The Wing of a Buckeye butterfly

The upper wing of a Monarch butterfly

The underwing of a Manarch butterfly

The painted Lady

And last the underwing of a Painted Lady. Most people would not think this wing was  not as pretty as the upper but look closer and see the beautiful detail and you can even see some of the scales.

Thank you for looking through my camera eye
