Ecscuba's blog: 2014 my new greenhouse

Posted on Nov 3, 2014 9:29 PM

6 x 8 Harbor Freight. We dolled it up a little with a brick floor. Finished it in early October. By Halloween it was down to 42 at night so moved all my plants in there. We are in Central Texas and the days are still nice and warm. I have lemons ripening on the tree, tomatoes in blossom, mammoth jalapeños, and lots of herbs. I just planted lettuce, arugula, radishes and Anaheim peppers. It will be fun and challenging to keep everything alive and producing for the next several months of winter. My husband built a potting bench for me using cement block and a piece of granite countertop we had on hand. Organic soil is kept in Home Depot buckets.
