Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Silver Butterfly')
In May, Hubby and I took a trip down to Pearland, TX to Paine's Daylily Farm. It had rained 3 inches the night before, so things were a little muddy, but I really enjoyed walking around looking at all the daylilies in bloom. I just should have been as smart as some people who wore their rain boots!
I was very pleased with the blooms. They came after the plant was dug from the ground and then planted in my garden. These are very tough plants. Of course they will really be pretty next year. I'll have lots of 'Silver Butterflies' dancing in my garden. Anticipation is half the fun of gardening!
