<p>These are buds that are about to open. There are five buds here and it looks like there will be some lavender in the blooms. The plant is C. Hardyana 'Exotic Orchids' x self and this will be the first blooms I have seen from this plant. No one seems to know what the blooms will look like. One expert says that when an orchid is crossed with itself, the blooms may or may not be like those of the uncrossed plant. I will know within a few days.</p>
<p>I will post the flower when they first show and again when they completely unfold.</p>
