Johannian's blog: Thanksgiving: 400th Anniversary

Posted on Nov 25, 2021 12:40 AM

This year marks the four-hundredth year since the pilgrims settled in an unknown world, not knowing what dangers lurked in every forest and behind every rock. But still they pushed forward, because in the midst of their hard times, they had much for which to be thankful, such as friendly American Indians willing to help, they had their families, and they had the Lord. Let us remember these giants of faith, courage, and all that is right as we celebrate the blessings only able to be enjoyed because of our ancestors who came before us, setting the foundation for which we now live.

Happy Thanksgiving!
