After a complete dumpster fire, we finally closed on our new property. 5 acres, just outside Oklahoma City. I finally have all the space I want to grow whatever my little heart desires. And part of me is really tempted to go all out, plant gobs and gobs, just to get out of my system. Then next year rein it in to a reasonable level.
This is our front driveway. Plan is to design it for the "curb appeal", since it's what everyone will see. We recently put up fencing along it so our dogs won't have access to the driveway. The buggy tree will be yanked out, and everything will be removed so I can start clean. Right now it's filled with a backbreaking load of landscape rock, so it's taking forever to clear. I haven't decided what to do here, so I'll more than likely just toss out a bucket of random flower seeds & see what takes.
This is the future garden area. The space is 30 ft x 60ft, maybe longer. I have the railroad ties to make 2 beds, maybe 4 if I single stack them. My husband has been doing some needed cleanup, but up next is groundbreaking & helping me set up the beds. I'm ready to go, I got seeds to plant!
