I've been looking for a tall plant like this to use in my home landscape. I found these three along Big Walnut Creek in Gahanna, Ohio, but don't know what they are. I'm guessing one is wingstem and another is a type of sunflower. Specific Latin names and any other information would be helpful. Thank you!    |
| First one is Cutleaf Coneflower (Rudbeckia laciniata) Second is Wingstem (Verbesina alternifolia) Not sure about the third. |
| I'm pretty sure the last one is Jerusalem Artichoke-- helianthus strumosus. They grow wild in Michigan too. |
