So, this started happening a month or so, the branches seem normal to me, they don't look like they're rooting... Does someone know what this might be?

Several possibilities. Inadequate light if it was not within a few feet of a sunny window. Either over or under watering. The roots of a Hedera Ivy are not very forgiving of watering lapses. Spider mites can also do this damage.
