I have grown this beauty in large urns/ mixed planters, and it is an eye catcher! Great accent to licorice mint. It blooms throughout Spring and Summer in zone 8b. And just as the flowers are almost spent in late September, 'Colossal Blue' renews with an abundance of blooms for Fall. At first frost I move the urns into my windowless garage and barely keep it alive. Once weather warms I return to outdoors where it grows twice as abundant as previous year.
