Great performance for a second year plant! I planted this last year, 2022. The plant started blooming the second week of August, and it continued until 9/28/23, ending its bloom season with two beautiful pink flowers. Pink is not an easy flower to find in late daylilies, and I'm sure glad that M. K. B. is in my garden!

I know it is full summer when this blooms. The hotter and more sunny it is, the better it blooms. It took 4 years to reach blooming size; planted in almost pure sand.
