Today at a Home Depot, in the houseplant section, I bought a Graptosedum Alpenglow "Vera Higgins" The grower is : Altman Plants in Vista, CA 92084. It says it has a reddish glow, hence the name Alpenglow. Vera Higgins was a person 1892 - 1968, who was instrumental in the early Rock Garden Societies, and authored a book, published in 1964. At least that's what my google search told me :)

Named by Marjorie Shields, New Zealand, as a Sedum hybrid (Nat. Cact. & Succ. Journ. 33 (4): 86, 1978).

Also distributed as xG. ‘Vera Higgins’, xG. ‘Coffee’, xG. ‘Alpenglow’ (ISI 2001-34), Graptopetalum Roseum n.n.
