If you look closely at the birds...you can see where a stick would be attached. They are meant to be resting on a pole in the garden, but because of our glacial till there isn't much soil there, and the birds can't stand up straight. So I took them off the pole and put them on the fence instead. I like it that way better

I think there must be an ants living in my Viole'ts Pride pot...I can't even get a sniff of the blooms, because usually there are about 4 or 5 ants on each bud/flower. I think they're eating midge/thrips. I flick them off to get a picture.

The bird bath and the small wheelbarrow with the marigolds and lobelia are in honor of my kids. One daughter loves yellow and the other loves purple. So I usually do some combination of yellow/purple in that wheelbarrow. This year I have the birds facing out into the other yard. Last year I had them facing in to our yard.
