In the dirt

These are the 6 "Grandpa Ott" morning glory seeds I soaked last night. This morning around 7:30 I put them in a container with dirt.
I'm not sure if you can tell but the top 4 you can definitely tell the hard dark shell softened and cracked a bit (if you look closely you can see the white of the inside in little squiggly lines) the lower 2 are smaller and the soaking didn't seem to be as helpful to them, I'm not 100% sure those two will sprout :/

Hopeful, Happy thoughts though!

Morning morning!

Woke up this morning to these little guys stretching to wake up and out of the dirt. And who doesn't like to stretch 1st thing in the morning? (Well as long as I don't trigger a cramp in my leg or side.)
Can't wait for those 1st set of leaves to break free, they always remind me of butterfly wings <3
So the two purple cups are grandpa ott's and the one pink cup is scarlet o'hara.

Right now I have 6 grandpa ott seeds soaking. Hopefully they sprout too Smiling
I think they will, gotta stay positive, right?

My Shasta daisy (alaska) are sprouting nicely and growing good. I'm looking forward to seeing them grow bigger

In this picture we see grandpa ott's morning glories (purple cups), scarlet o'hara's morning glories (pink cups), 4 o'clock "mix colors" (orange cups) and mystery hibiscus seeds that are also in pink cups.
I'm pretty sure I see a bit of a white bend pushing up from one of the grandpa ott's and scarlet o'hara cups, fingers crossed!

These are all cuttings from the same polka dot plant the one in the small bottle I put in yesterday, the two in the green bottles set up differently I did this morning. I already tried to propagate one cutting from this plant in water but I think I moved it to soil too fast, it's still hanging on but I think it's not very happy with me... Fingers crossed these ones are happier and grow good roots!

These are cosmos sproutlings, they seem happy and well! I'm second guessing transplanting them all into this one container though...

And last for now are the tiger lilies I grabbed from the side of my house! They are growing very fast! Maybe because the house is warmer then outside? We keep it around 66 degrees, I find that cool but I don't pay for the heating and am grateful for a root over head so my lips stay sealed.
I wonder if these guys are thinking "yay no snow for us!" Do lilies normally sprout so early? I AM worried about the ones outside but they've survived this long (years without human help) so I am willing to bet they are fighters!
