9º this morning and still no snow cover. The frost will be deep this winter I'm afraid. We mulched everything pretty good with leaves, but if we don't get a little snow soon, I will probably have some winter kill by spring.
I have to say that I've enjoyed having no snow for this long however.
We had a trace the night before and about an inch this morning. Wet and sloppy, it won't last.
This is the coldest morning so far, but we've had a couple killing frosts in the last week. Greg got the onions in and we harvested all the ripe tomatoes over a week ago. Sun is shining today and it looks like a great day to be outside. Too bad I have to work today and go to Wenatchee tomorrow.
We had a light frost last night. It didn't hurt anything, but everything was definitely a little white this morning.
