I made my first SIP from a 5gal bucket. I planted it today with a Banana Pepper. I tried to even a sloping small bed that I didn't realize was sloped that much. It's only a 10ft bed so I'm going to try and get it to hold water.
I got a couple of cantaloupes and 5 Brandywine tomatoes started today. It's kind of a rush and I hope to be going by Mem Day instead of Mother's Day as the wisdom calls for. I did see one plant from the other seedlings today too. I hope this rambling is ok on here. I'm on that constant quest to get organized.
After my seed mishap I've started over with the seeds and waiting on them to pop up now. Planted 5/15- I'll have a full list* planted 2 sunflowers and prepped 2 bottomless planters for cantaloupe seeds tomorrow.
I've got a SIP 5gal I'm just about to experiment with. That's it for my first shiny new blog entry.
