The Dougherty Garden
When I received this Hibiscus plant from Ruth it already had a flower blooming. This is the first one to bloom for me in the Dougherty Garden. Whe I received them, these Red Vein Hibiscus plants were already about three to four feet tall and I was reluctant to cut them back for fear of killing them. When I was walking into the garden yesterday, I noticed that there was a flower under one of the leaves. This is the picture that I took.
