We had some awesome lightning storms a few months back. Unfortunately, I loaded most of 'em onto my computer, so I'm waiting for sufficient internet connection so I can send them to you guys from there. I did keep a few pictures on here, thought.

They're not the sharpest shots, but lightning is hard to capture. Smiling

This one was so bright the camera couldn't capture it:

What do you guys think of this one?

The sky was so pretty when I took the picture, and it contrasts the bright green from the grass.

Here some other pix of the lightning (I finally set aside some time to find them!). For some reason, they come out really grainy whenever I post them from the Slack app onto garden.org. Hopefully you can still manage to see the lightning bolts, though.

The first picture is from the second storm we had, in which there was purple lightning. The next two are from the first storm which had red lightning. Since being here, we've only had one storm with good 'ol white/silver lightning (which was the only color we got in CA). All our other storms here have had red, purple, or blue lightning.

That bumblebee looks like he's about to topple right into the center of that flower. Hilarious!

Those colors are just beautiful Lovey dubby

You should try making a banner out of them, if it's possible.

The background here is a gray poster board in early morning open light, overlaid by the sun peering through tree leaves about 30ft away.

I suppose this pic could also go in the "It's all about light" thread, but I didn't have time to maneuver the plant for a good show. Truly, it could have been the perfect photo, at least in my eyes.
