Tanacetum parthenium, aka Feverfew, Chrysanthemum

One of my very most favorite plants ever.
This one is a double....sport? It was a volunteer, and
I'd never seen it till this year. All the others have been
"singles". Hope it will germinate true.
So easy to grow....re-seeds every year, and
even grows & blooms in a rock crack.
Just sprinkle here & there. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘
Note: including this link for the info, not necessarily
recommending, though have always had good
success with their seeds.

The season of mums is upon us. A very pretty one to start off with.

A darling flower! I looked at the database, and there are quite a few cultivars: singles, doubles, even one with no petals---just the yellow center! Smiling

Thanks everyone!
Sorry for late reply......life. Sighing!

If you haven't already, hope everyone will try this winning plant.

I didn't even know it was part of the mum's group, but see the
resemblance. I've planted regular mums, but they never last more
than a season or two. But these find a spot every year on their own. Thumbs up

Happy to share seeds...very tiny....just send me your address, and I'll put some in
an envelope (free).

The blooms are petite, just 3/4", but so many, it really adds
to any garden.

To see it against other plants for size reference...

And this one grew & bloomed out of a crack in the rock.
