Word to the wise: Dudleyas are generally unavailable outside the Californias, where they are native. They are winter growers, and require strong light during winter. They rest in summer and do not enjoy regular precipitation during their sleepy time. This might be a plant to appreciate from a distance if you don't live in a climate as forgiving as ours.
