I know you & your buddy had a good day. The photos made me nostalgic. We lived in the valley in the early 70s. I loved the desert in the spring when everything was in bloom.

Very nice blog, and loved the photos, Liz! Are dogs allowed there on leashes all of the time, or was it a special day? I know the Desert Botanical Garden has days when they allow dogs in on leashes.

Well behaved dogs are always welcome. This was my first time taking Chinle. He has never been described as well-behaved, but he has improved immensely. He did beautifully, and I was so proud of him.
