Bluebeard's Ghost
An SDB Iris from hybridizer Paul Black. I've grown this iris since about 2007; and it has proven to be one of the best all-around plants in the iris garden. Not only does it have good looks, coloring, appeal, and great growth habits; but it has won Honorable Mention: 2008; Award of Merit: 2010; Cook-Douglas Medal: 2012; and the Fred and Barbara Walther Cup in 2008. As an SDB it has 11 child plants among which is the stunning Code Of Honor, an intermediate bearded iris.
