In my area there is only 1 supplier for the roses available since only the big box stores seem to carry them, the "Knock Out" series. I haven't found any local nurseries, but I haven't looked too hard either. That's probably why most stores don't carry other roses, they only get their plants from a couple massive growers.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.
