I couldn't figure out why I was so attracted to this photo, and really debated about entering it.
I then realized that the winter worn leaves are such a great contrast to the purity of the fresh spring blossom, forcing itself up through the debris as a gift of amazing pristine beauty. It feels like a gift of nature.
