@blue23rose Vickie, I smiled big when I saw this photo in this year's photo contest. I also grow this Japanese Iris in my garden. As beautiful as they all, bearded iris do not survive in my hot and humid Georgia garden, so over time I have discovered other types of iris. The Japanese Iris seem to be thriving. I suspect I will need to start dividing some clumps; always a good problem to have!
