Turned out to be only a quick run to see the snow in Wears Valley, Tn. Shopped in Pigeon Forge {no snow}, had dinner then headed home.
Thumb of 2014-11-04/chickhill/27570f pretty, quaint little church. No stopping place to shoot the front.
The snow front was so thick and low you could not see the tops of the mountain range. Very gray and overcast not to mention the quiet silence. The envelope of hushed, quiet, silence is what I like best about snow.

Spitting SNOW Oct. 31, 2014
Posted on Oct 31, 2014 9:43 PM

No no it's way to early for snow, even though it is only spitting. What's the rest of winter going to be like?
Off to snowy Gatlinburg/Smoky Mountains tomorrow with my daughter. She is a SNOW pic freak. Snow-doe, snow leaves, and anything with snow.

Semp dreaming
Posted on Oct 25, 2014 11:41 PM

Oh my, just looked through gg5/Greg's color changes on his semps. Beauties, makes me want more. Thinking about digging out side bed and putting as many semps as I can fit in. Learned the hard way SEMPS don't like hot sun/rain all day long. If I move them to the side of the house they will get morning sun only.
