Three days sorting out Aquarium problems,..four of the community fish started showing the lower lip protruding,..this happens when the water needs a partial change,..normally i would change a basin full and that is enough to return things to normal,..this time i changed two basins full which upset things,..sometimes a partial change can raise the toxicity of the water even more,..one basin would raise it bad enough but two basins would raise the toxicity to a dangerous level,..i could see the fish gasping and added conditioner to no avail,..lost one fish i have had for years,..a Dollar Fish,..changed the entire 22 Gallons and lost no more fish.
It was one of these fish i lost,..Silver Dollar/Dollar Fish,..about the size of a saucer.
A nice Daffodil opened today.
A new Daffodil opened today,..i don't recall seeing it last year.

49F today and a nice day to take Molly for a walk before i returned home to continue putting up the Mini Greenhouse,..i noticed that i had three screws,..four bolts and nuts left over after finishing,..very nice of the firm to add extra screws nuts and bolts

I always try keeping a few Hollyhocks as they really are always seen in Cottage Gardens,..most of mine return every year though seeds need to be sown to replace those that didn't survive the Winter,..Rust does appear around the second month though it only spoils the leaf and not the bloom,..they bloom from July to October here.
