I maybe unique.

I never figured I was the only person who disliked others wasteing my time.
So sorry I came across as crabby about the eye clinic screwing me out of a hour and a half of my time.

Just don't make your appointment and forget to call and see the bill you receive for wasteing their time.

Also sorry I was upset a fellow who knew I was coming to pick up a part 2 1/2 days ahead of time was not there when I arrived and didn't have the part at hand I was after.
Hey it was only another hour of my wasted time not to mention the drive time and fuel cost.

Easy to make up the time since I am retired and time meens nothing to retired people.
The fuel cost is noting either on our fixed income. Just eat some boiled rice and garden veggies for a few days should make that cost up.

We have snow cover
Posted on Oct 31, 2017 6:20 AM

7:00 AM dressed to go out and let the pups loose so they could run in their out side pens. It was raining and the English setter I am sure is blond would go out in it and get soaked as she seems to like the rain and being in it.
so I turned around and didn't go let them out.

Sat down and watched the local news and weather on the tube.

7:30 AM decide I wanted another cup of tea so went to thre kitchen. Looking out the window it appeared extra light out for the time of morning. Go and turn on the flood lites and we have almost a inch of snow on the ground and is still coming down at this time.

Happy Halloween, This is why we bought the kids extra large Hollowween costumes if they got a boughten one, so it would fit over their snow suits.

Soon our back road will have Polish land fill in the mud holes.
I love winter my favorite season.

I'm stumped and I did this for a living at one time.

I have a power antenna on the 1985 Buick right front fender. It doesn't go up and down when you turn the radio on and off.
Untill I unplug the power from it the motor kept running because it needs the mast to move the contacts in the relay. That also helps a person to know why the antenna will not go up or go down. Cable is broken that pulls the atenna down and pushes it up.
Is really a easy fix once you are able to get the atenna from where ever it is located in my case behind the inter fender panal on the right side behind the tire and wheel.

I have all the bolts and screws removed and I still can't get that panal out. I have googled it with no luck I have you tubed it again with no luck. I am beginning to think there is some molded nails on the panal you just can't see and have to figure out where they are and pull them. Nails can be just a simple spear with a bunch of barbs to catch and hold.

I think today I will visit a friend who has a body shop and see if he know how to do it. That atenna has to go all the way down before painting the car.

Shame people don't make comments. I started this blog at the request of a poster but don't leave comments here so this may be the last post as I feel like I am just a raving lunatic talking to myself since no one replies.
I don't like feeling like that.

I think some days a person would be better off staying in bed.
Posted on Oct 28, 2017 7:30 PM

So Wednesday Kare took a call from the eye clinic we us. My new eye glasses were finished and we could pick them up any time during bussiness hours.
Thursday morning we go out to the barn to clean up, feed and give fresh water to the dogs. I also walked them despite a bit of light rain falling.
Once finished with the dogs We decide that since it was raining we would make it a town travel day. call the eye clinic and ask when is lunch. told from 1:00 PM tp 2:00 PM. decide to pass up Lowe's where i needed to return some circuit breakers I had bought that were wrong.

Get to the eye clinic and find rthe section for glasses fittings closed with a note oin the door lunch 12:00 PM to 1:00PM. We decide to go to a resturant near by and have lunch our selves. Return to the eye clnic at 1:45 PM and it is still closed, I go to the main front desk and ask where are the fitter? Am told they are in a meeting till 2:00PM, every cotton picking one of them I ask and am told yes. finally at 2:10 PM they open up and I get my new glasses and they have lost a customer for good.

We could have been told the correct time for lunch and that they had a Friday afternoon meeting till 2:00PM and not wasted our time.

I had also called a guy a week ago about a wheel center cap for our Buick. He returned the call and said he was out of town till this past Wednesday to call him then. I called and was told he did indeed have the center cap we were looking for. I told him I would drive down on Friday afternoon to pick one up He told me that would be fine. We get toi his place at 2:45 PM and he is not there, His sister said he was going to be there at 3:05 PM. He finally showed up at 3:25PM and searched all thru his stack of old and rare car parts in a shop wearhouse, and could not locate the disired wheel center caps for a Buick. Takes me out to a enclosed trailer behind the shop and could not find the part there either.

You would have thought when we had talked Wednesday he would have rounded up said part by thursday evening or Friday morning at best.
So by this time it is after 4:00 Pm and had only gotten my eye glasses, I had also told a waitress that kept calling me honey I was not her honey, Wife said every one in the restaurant knew she wasn't my honey too. Never relized I was so loud and so stinking mad over the events of the day.

Like I said some days you would be better oof just staying in bed sleeping and reading.

A chain saw sheath for the tractor.
Posted on Oct 26, 2017 5:57 AM

In need of a convention safe way to carry a couple chain saws on the tractor I have searched for Ideas on the net. Seem Ones you can buy, are nice but a lot more pricy than I feel they should be for what most are. I did run across a you tube on flating PCV pipe for some project the fellow was working on. He had a heat box he had borrowsd from some person he knew with one to flatten the PCV.

I have decided I can flatten PCV pipe the short 20" sections I will need any way by makeing a vice out of some 2x6 lumber.
Place the PCV pipe in it then set it on my wood furnace on some bricks so it isn't in contact with the metal. As the PCV heats up I can tighten the 2x6 vice a little at a time till I get the pipe as flat as I want it to be.
I have no Idea how much heat will be required.

I melt bees wax at 140F useing a double boiler I made.
