Blooms earlier than other Ajugas. Flowers are much more elongated than other species. Pairs well with burgundy glow and its relatives.

~~Sedumzzs' Plant Review~~

This plant is an asain veggie called "Ma Lan Tou" . The flowers are nice and it tastes great both raw and cooked. Beware though, it is very aggresive. It is good for both culinary and overall ornamental views

~~Sedumzzs' Plant Review~~

This plant was bought as part of a garden bed renovation and was planted during summer in mostly clay soil. It was very happy. It dies back very early and doesn't come back until mid spring. Once the buds come back it immediately forms the dwarf bushy previous self again. Flowers are very nice.

Buds start out as white, and the bloom fades to light pink with age.

~~Sedumzzs' Plant Review~~

This plant hates me! It had no problems whatsoever for the first few years indoors, and when I moved it outside it wouldn't stop pouting. I personally prefer 'Angelina', but this variety has more lemon/lime in its foliage, and has more needle-like foliage. I do plan on retrying with different soil mixes.

~~Sedumzzs' Plant Review~~

I have a small cutting of this from my old clump. This variety is slightly larger than 'Brilliant' and has much bluer leaves. It has rooted very fast.

~~Sedumzzs' Plant Review~~

H. sieboldii has beautiful dormant rosettes. It springs up relatively fast during early spring, and develops orange/red edges on the sea-foam green scalloped leaves. It is very bushy, and has red blooms.

--Plant Review--
I have a big patch of it in my old house, and was able to only get a snippet of a variegated one, and a small rooted original. Very cold tolerant (almost typed told colerant!).

Leaves:
Can turn deep green without full sun, but still look really good and stay generally compact. My variant doesn't fit any of the plants (neither Fools gold nor tricolor) but looks very good. I will have to see if it roots.

Flowers:
I haven't seen it bloom yet :0

--Plant Review--
I have had this plant for as far as I can remember, but since I moved last year I wasn't able to bring a cutting Sad I have a small cutting that is still rooting. I will have to see how it fares!

Leaves:
The leaves are like spoons, and have a waxy coating. When it rains, the raindrops stay as little bubbles (the leaves are water-resistant). Very fun to play with. I've heard of rubbing them, and blowing them up as a balloon. Anyways, picking the leaves off does not harm the plant. Leaves are pastel turquoise.

Flowers and seeds:
Bees and butterflies adore this plant. My high score was 10 bees on one plant. :3 The flowers are tiny and have five petals. They are pink and pretty. They bloom summer/autumn. The seeds and stems look nice in the winter and look really decorative.

Dormancy:
Dormant in winter, like my other hylotelephiums. They make compact clumps and look great. The spent stems are hollow and have whitish tint.
