Aloe in bloom

Aloe claviflora at the start of spring.

I love this banner, and guessed it was yours, Baja.

Maybe you've seen it on the succulent forum... in any case, great flowers on this aloe, unusual shaped raceme.

But no fruit this year either.

A terrific banner! Nicely sliced out of the original photo, incorporating the leaves and bloom. It always amazes me how out of a desert landscape, such beauty develops. Nature certainly is miraculous. (and the photographer is pretty good too)

Thank you all for the kind words. That little inflorescence was the reason I got the aloe, and it fit perfectly into the sideways geometry of the banner.
