A few aren't fragrant like Love Song and Waltz Time, but are still lovely.

I agree unfortunately these two mentioned above are unavailable here... Sighing!

I still have to discover a rose that I dislike... *Blush*

or in fact almost any plant!

Seil, I can give you all my quack grass from my farm....they were introduced here as good forage grass...(and it is, except when growing uninvited in my rose beds or vegetable rows... Sighing! ) Green Grin!
Is your morning glory the same thing as bind weed?. Of the latter I've got plenty to lavishly supply if you wish....the flower is really pretty...( I'm trying to be positive about it... Smiling ).
and,
If you like sorrel soup, my wood sorrel is as good as the bought one in the specialty vegetable stores...

well, yes these are a few plants that I do dislike their habits... Shrug!

Hilarious!

Yes, bindweed, that's the stuff! I hate it! It has taken over one of my beds and I can not get rid of it.

Weeds are just plants that are unwanted or too aggressive in your yard. I have heard that dandelions are actually sold as potted plants in other countries. To each their own I guess, lol.

Some people find wild dandelion leaves a delicacy if collected as a late winter green salad !. Yes although not as aggressive and unwelcome visitor I also could do without them... my sheep seem to selectively search for them.

Well yes, I realized that there's just one rose that behaves as a weed here: the Rosa eglanteria

My farm was a full 6.2 acre rose bramble when we first moved in. There are still remnants of the almost 30 year long erradication process. The flowers are fragrant: they smell strong apple blossom as well as their leaves when brushed by. The hips are good for making jelly...I still don't like it...

Just as you said, Seil, here at the data base there are quite a few that grow them. To each their own...you guessed right.

Bindweed is a paid as the vines are so small finding all the rooted parts is like threading a needle; it is way to easy to miss some and the next year, they're BAAAACK.
I did manage to eradicate a mess of them by digging and poison but cultivated Morning Glory gone feral is a different story.
As big as the vines are, I have been trying to get rid of those planted for show twenty years ago for (rim shot) twenty years.

Quick Weed that came from soil I brought from up North, is the curse of the Earth.
I have not used poison on it but that will eventually change, pulling does not work but oddly, up North where it came from it is nearly gone but down South, it LOVES mulch.

I gave in to my kids and got some chocolate morning glory seeds this year. Maybe i shod put it in a pot. I have a fear of vines because so many houses in my neighbourhood are being smothered by honeysuckle, ivy or other creepers. I really hope I don't regret the morning glory. I do have climbing roses but I must beg and cajole to get those to climb!

Sorry, Arturo, I don't think I could bring myself to eat dandelions, lol. I'm sure wild roses are a pain to deal with too.

RpR, didn't know quick weed. I don't think I have that here...thank goodness!

Potting it is a good idea, Hiyamakki, but you will also need to keep it dead headed or it will seed everywhere!

Hiyamakki, I was told that it is not actually in the same family as bindweed (or aka morning glory), but I am still nervous to try it. Laura from Garden Answer deals with bindweed/morning glory and planted Morning Glory seeds 2 years in a row.

Seil I couldn't stop smiling when I saw today ,this (actually lovely) photo of dandelions celebrating your 'National Dandelion Day!

there must be a huge crowd out there munching dandelions, to such a point, that a special day for it has been designated!
