Oh how fun…a discussion about the high prices on the Lily Auction! I could talk all night!

STARMAN - oh my oh my. I am a very visual person. If I go to a restaurant, most likely I will order something pictured. When I saw the picture of STARMAN, I knew that someday I would have to own it. $2500 is a mouthful, but I would think that you could recoup that amount with a few years of selling seeds, and still have the plant.

Another reason to love STARMAN is the name…any Bowie lovers out there? And the last reason is because the hybridizer is Rich Howard. The king of seed sellers, the proud papa for EXPLOSION IN THE PAINT FACTORY, and one of the nicest and most generous folks on the planet.

I see this as a win win win!

I love the look of REDEFINABLE, and would love to own it. My trouble is that I had many brokens to choose from this season, maybe too many, so I need to be as selective as I can. I have two of my own that I crossed heavily the last two years, and hopefully will see broken color on doubles, Ufs, Kulpas, and CLOWN PANTS next year. It will be fun to see where it goes!

I love broken colors! Please let us knw how the seedlings go. I'd love to see how each seedling differs from eachother and how you select the certain seedlings !!!

It's amazing what addiction will do to a bidder. I can't believe the bidding went up that high!
