Less than 70 days .... maybe

when I get it all harvested, keep an eye-out here on the Adeniums Forum for an "announcement"

I tip my hat to you.
If I were in the US, this will join the crowd, there are white, pink and deep red adeniums. I don't need them anymore, its too much for me. The last one on the right were velvet queen sun flower

patience ....remember ....adenium take forever (!!)

in a week to 10 days ....seed pod "may" double in length ...notice the "may" .... do not change anything ... like turn plant or give it more or less water ..... seedpods lengthen & change color slowly ..... and then, (if all goes okay) in about 70 days, it will begin to split open

@deepsouth

May be it may not increase in size as it was neglected in nursery.

@deepsouth and @purpleinopp not sure if you are both aware that there is a classified add forum for trade or sale of seeds/plants:

thanx ...I was aware .... thought I would put my free listing in a thread on the Adeniums forum ....my thinking: it would be seen quicker by more people who grow adenium ....and like free stuff
if that fails .... will start another thread in the Classified section

Thanks, I am aware. I've offered free plants for postage a couple of times there but got zero responses.

@Aashna. Don't despair, be patient. I have gotten viable seed from 4" seed pods. Sometimes if a flower isn't fully pollinated it will only put out one full size pod and a shorter one on the other side. Sometimes just one short one. This can happen also if the plants aren't genetically close. It's possible that there will be viable seed, just not many of them.
Be kind, we all struggle sometimes.

Another seedling, I wasn't going to buy another one until my previous purchases bloom but this is so cute. Lovey dubby It has a little scar but I do not have to bonsai train it.

@Aashna and @Kaktus, this is what $10.98 + tax looks like here. Hilarious!

nice one .... and an excellent $10.98 + tax investment ....did this one hop in the shopping cart too ?

had it been in clay pot of the same size - the pot would be toast .... "oval top" on plastic pots means the roots are expanding past the dimensions of the pot ....

Yes it jumped too! Rolling on the floor laughing

Definitely an excellent price for us compared to Aashna's $9.

You are definitely correct about the roots. I actually repotted it in a shallow claypot and has to change its orientation to accommodate the length of the roots. I didn't want any more drastic root trimming because we will be having a lot of rain in the next few days. I will wait until spring for any trimmings.

This would be my second leaner. I love it, instant bonsai look. Can't wait for it to bloom.
